Welcome to Broad Inquiry!
This blog started as a way to get myself excited about science in 2017. I was hoping for a small pilot project, but the demand and excitement for promoting women in STEM was overwhelming!
This blog will host a bi-weekly profile of an amazing woman who has chosen a career in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics). I am hoping this will be a medium to share some great science, but also the stories of how women move through their career in STEM/academia. My goal for this repository of stories is to foster role-models for future women in STEM, and to inform the public what the life of a kick-ass lady scientist is like! I also hope to break down the stereotypes about what scientists look like.
The blog is currently maintained by myself and my fellow neuroscientist friend Debbie Yee.
